Linda and James are an american couple that decided to tie the knot in one of the most romantic, special and unique village of all the Amalfi coast…Positano. To be really honest with you Positano as well as Ravello are my favorite villages on the Amalfi coast – ideal for a romantic and special Italian wedding.

Linda and James felt totally in love with Hotel Marincanto and soon realized they had done the right choice to plan their destination wedding in Positano.

What a perfect location, a floating terrace that gives the unique chance to get married with the stunning backdrop of Positano and of the ocean, a true mediterranean architecture.

Getting Ready at Hotel Marincanto

The getting ready took place at Hotel Marincanto and this was a plus since it gave them more time to get ready and to enjoy the stunning and breathtaking sea view of Positano.

Symbolic Wedding in Positano

The symbolic ceremony at Hotel Marincanto took place on the floating terrace facing the sea. Positano and the Mediterranean sea were the glorious backdrop. I do strongly believe a Symbolic Wedding in Positano is perfect for a wedding of up to40/ 50 guests.

The floral arrangements during the symbolic wedding ceremony at Hotel Marincanto were very elegant and macthed perfectly the requests from the bridal couple – all had to be white and green…using olive leaves, eucaliptus, lisianthus and roses. Musicians: the string quartet did an amazing job and played during the ceremony and during the cocktail hour. Immediately after the Ceremony the couple with their guests and the bridal party had a rich cocktail hour with canapès and a wide buffet of Italian Appetizers and different types of cocktails (Bellini, Rossini, Prosecco).
