How far and how difficult is walking for wedding guests from Ravello square to Villa Eva or to Villa Cimbrone?

  As a Ravello Wedding Planner I have to be totally honest with you and say that it’s a pretty long hilly walk, with several flights and up and down stairs from the main piazza (square) to the entrance to Villa Cimbrone or to Villa Eva but to be honest with you for a wedding day, with all the guests together the walk can be peaceful and romantic.

How to make the walk nicer?

  As a Ravello Wedding Planner Booking I can say that  a mandolin and a guitar player could be a nice idea and could make the walk more enjoyable and interisting. Since we started to plan destination weddings in Ravello in 2003 we have organised many different musical walk entertainments. I remember a very special wedding in which the wedding group started the walk from the main square and on the way to the wedding venue in Ravello they met in different points of the walk, different musicians, that time per time started to follow the wedding group and the bridal party. It was a really special wedding and time per time the guests were curious to see if there would be other musicians.  

How much time does it take to join Villa Eva or Villa Cimbrone from the main square (piazza)?

  It takes approx 10 minutes to join Villa Eva from the main square and it takes approx 15 minutes to join Villa Cimbrone from the main square.

How can wheelchair users or people with mobility problems get to Villa Eva and to Villa Cimbrone?

  If you are not good on your feet, there is an electric cart (is more similar to an electric wheel chair) that belongs to Mr Giuseppe Amato, that could transport a person at a time. The electric cart does walk very slowly and it would take up to 20/25 minutes to join Villa Eva and Villa Cimbrone. If you have more guests that will need this type of service make sure to book Mr Giuseppe Amato’s cart in advance and to schedule these services accordingly to the wedding timing program.  

Are you wondering if it will be possible to join Villa Eva or Villa Cimbrone wearing high heels?

  Well, I don’t think it is impossible…it is possible and in most of the weddings in either Villa Eva and Villa Cimbrone women wear high heels, but I would highly suggest to wear more comfortable shoes.
